The Spring market has been busy, one of the busiest on record with a record number of auctions conducted during the month of November. Many vendors are taking advantage of the current buoyant marketplace and we are still seeing good attendee numbers at both open homes and auctions.
The sales team were very busy with some great results for the month but the stand out had to be 46 Bourke Street Mentone. This was the first auction campaign conducted by Belinda for our office and what an outstanding result it was with over 50 bids during the auction and a result of $120,000 above the reserve price. Very happy vendors, buyers and agent with this result.
We are continuing to introduce new technology all the time and this month we continued that with the introduction of Homepass to our open homes. This is a very easy and secure way of registering our attendees and being able to provide them with up to date data and information via email and text before they even leave the open home. No need to wait hours or days for sales contracts, we can have it in an enquirer’s inbox with seconds.
We have also enjoyed a very good listing month with many vendors planning their 2016 now and listing their auction campaigns to start early in the New Year. This will give them a massive head start to the New Year and take advantage of the early buyers in the marketplace in 2016.
The rental department have also enjoyed a busy and very productive November. The team achieved a PB in new business with a good mix of properties coming from both new landlords and also current landlords who have been with other companies previously. The team processed 25 applications for the month and accepted 11 new tenants to lease our landlord’s properties. 57 inspections were conducted during the month and it just shows the work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure only the best tenants are accepted into our properties. There was a good mix of houses as well as units / apartments let during the
month.
The month also saw the introduction of REST Communicator which is our online 24/7 access to records for both landlords and tenants. This is providing our clients with up to date data about their properties and leases from both a landlord and tenant perspective. The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly good and we look forward to making more improvements in the future.
